Seasonal Applique By SEW
WEIRD DESIGNS
These designs are 3 step
applique. It is the simpliest way to do applique with perfect results.
Step one is the "placement stitch" this stitch
can be used in any color and is sewn to show you where to place the fabric.
Place the fabric over the placment stitching. You can use a tacky spray to
hold in place.
Step two is the "Secure Stitch" this is a triple
stitch that is used to hold down the fabric. Trim close to the secure stitch.
Step three is the "Outline Stitch". This is a satin
stitch used to finish off the edges.

Fringe Instructions Sew out design following sew order. When finished turn over and cut the white bobbin thread on the wide satin stitch. Turn back over to the front and using the tip of your scissors and pull the top thread out. trim any large loops. |
