Simple cutwork instructions,easy as 1...2...3...

Hoop using tearaway stabilizer backing. Sew first color to give you the cut guides. I used green so you could see it but you want to use a color that matches the fabric.

Carefully cut out inside of guides then place back on machine.

Place one piece of water soluble stabilizer on top.

Sew next color to secure the stabilizer then continue to sew.

Remove from hoop and remove stabilizer from the back. Rinse in warm water until all the stabilizer is removed. Let dry then iron.

Makes a beautiful heirloom. Lace and trim was store bought at Joann's.
